Return & Refund Policy

At Lay's Kitchen, every item is a freshly baked, perishable food product made to order in our licensed home kitchen in Aspinwall, PA. For food-safety and quality reasons, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges. The policy below explains how we handle orders, cancellations, and any issues with your order.

All Sales Are Final

Because our baked goods and protein snacks are perishable, made fresh to order, and intended for immediate enjoyment, all sales are final. For health and food-safety reasons we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any product, and items cannot be resold once they leave our kitchen. As a result, there are no restocking fees, because products cannot be returned. This applies to all of our products, including signature bakes, protein snacks, and custom orders.

Order Issues — We'll Make It Right

Your satisfaction matters to us, and we stand behind the quality of everything we bake. While we can't accept returns, if your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or doesn't meet our quality standards, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery at layskitchenhq@gmail.com and include:

  • Your name and the date of your order
  • A short description of the problem
  • A photo of the product, if possible

We review every request and, at our discretion, will offer a payment refund for the affected item.

Cancellations & Changes

Orders are baked fresh to order and paid in advance by Venmo or Zelle. To cancel or change a pre-order, please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup or delivery time. Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund. Because ingredients are purchased and baking may already be underway, we may be unable to refund cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice.

Custom & Wholesale Orders

Custom cakes, cookie boxes, party platters, and large event or wholesale orders are prepared specifically for you and are non-refundable once confirmed and paid. If you need to make a change, please reach out as early as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

How Refunds Are Issued

When a refund is approved, it is returned through your original payment method (Venmo or Zelle) and is typically processed within 3–5 business days.
