Do you deliver in Pittsburgh?
Yes — order through DoorDash for same-day delivery across Pittsburgh, including Shadyside, Squirrel Hill, Fox Chapel, Highland Park, and surrounding neighborhoods. Pickup is also available at our Aspinwall kitchen.
How far in advance do I need to order?
Place orders at least 1 day in advance for pickup. Larger or custom orders (party platters, corporate orders, event catering) need a few extra days — email us for specifics.
What is Tamreye Date Pie?
Tamreye is our signature Lebanese-American dessert — a date pie made with caramelized Medjool dates and warm spices. It's a traditional Lebanese flavor reimagined as a pie, exclusive to Lay's Kitchen in Pittsburgh.
Do you offer high-protein options?
Yes. Our protein cookie line (Mocha Chip, Cinnamon Roll, PB Almond Crunch) packs 10–13g of protein per cookie at 140–165 calories, and our Whole Wheat Protein & Fiber Bagels are a higher-protein breakfast option. Great for meal prep or post-workout fuel.
Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes. Our Gluten-Free Carrot Cake Muffins are made without gluten-containing flour, with real shredded carrots and low added sugar — $36 for 12. They're baked in a home kitchen that also handles wheat, so they aren't certified gluten-free; please tell us about a celiac or severe wheat allergy when you order.
Do you have savory options or olive bread?
Yes. Our Organic Kalamata Olive Bread Twists are a hand-twisted savory bake studded with briny organic Kalamata olives and a touch of cheese, finished with sesame — $18 for 6. They're great for charcuterie boards, wine nights, and party platters. (Contains wheat, milk, sesame.)
Do you sell bagels?
Yes — our Whole Wheat Protein & Fiber Bagels come 6 to an order in three flavors: Plain ($16), Everything ($17), and Pumpkin & Sesame Seeds ($20). They're made with whole-wheat flour, added protein and fiber, and yogurt for a tender, chewy crumb. (Contains wheat, milk; Everything and Pumpkin & Sesame also contain sesame.)
How do you handle allergies, and do you label allergens?
Allergens are listed on every item under “Contains.” We're a home kitchen that also handles wheat, milk, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, and sesame, so we can't guarantee an allergen-free environment. Some items have shorter allergen lists (for example, the Gluten-Free Carrot Cake Muffins contain only milk) — tell us about any allergies when you order and we'll help you choose.
